Phasora
A physics-informed AI tutor in early development: hints instead of answers, with simulations and formula cards built around each concept.
- 11units planned
- 88concepts, General Physics I

The problem
Students learning physics constantly switch between a textbook, a calculator, simulations and a chatbot, and general-purpose AI tutors can hallucinate in STEM explanations.
What I’m building
- A physics-informed AI tutor built on the Anthropic API. A custom physics-grounded system prompt enforces first-principles reasoning and returns structured math rendered with KaTeX.
- The tutor gives hints instead of answers.
- Features built so far: interactive simulations (spring-mass, projectile motion), LaTeX formula cards and an AI problem generator, on one canvas.
- Original pre-rendered physics animations made with Manim (Python); more are being added.
- Curriculum planned to cover all 11 units and 88 concepts of General Physics I.
Phasora is early stage: two concept pages are live, and the full General Physics I curriculum is a plan, not yet built.
